Overall purpose
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Quality Coordinator to join our team at Regent College London. As a key member of the Academic Quality team, the post holder will play an essential role in maintaining the highest standards of academic quality across our programmes.
Working closely with faculty, staff, and external bodies, the Quality Coordinator will oversee the implementation and monitoring of quality assurance processes to ensure that teaching, learning, and assessment activities comply with the requirements of our partners and regulatory standards.
General duties and responsibilities:
To act as a Quality Coordinator in supporting the work of the Academic Quality Office which includes:
Manage and coordinate quality assurance procedures across academic programmes.
Ensure compliance with internal and external quality frameworks.
Support programme review processes and assist with internal and external audits.
Provide guidance to academic departments on quality-related matters.
Collaborate regularly with academic and administrative staff, external quality bodies, and partner universities.
Monitor and review policies, ensuring they are up to date and align with regulatory standards.
Prepare and, when required, deliver staff training materials, while maintaining accurate records of training activities.
Manage and facilitate casework such as academic misconducts, appeals and complaints processes in line with college and partner policies.
Stay informed on national, regulatory, and international developments impacting the College.
Promote good practice in the administrative procedures and processes of the Quality Office and contribute to the development and implementation of improvements where appropriate.
Coordinate the assessment process, including moderation, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and adherence to required timelines.
Maintain a calendar of reporting requirements and committees/boards, ensuring timely preparation and follow-up.
Support secretarial work, acting as secretary or minute-taker for boards, committees, and formal meetings, while maintaining accurate records and documentation.
Perform other duties as required by the Head of Quality and Academic Registrar.
This is a full-time, permanent position with hybrid working arrangements across various locations.

Essential:

Excellent written and spoken communication skills both verbally and orally
Excellent interpersonal skills
Self-motivated team player who is confident and flexible with the demonstrative ability to establish a strong rapport with colleagues.
Strong understanding of academic quality assurance processes and regulatory requirements in higher education.
Attention to detail, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
Desirable:
Experience in a similar role within Higher Education or similar environment.
TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
Essential:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint).Experienced in using IT software i.e., Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, MS Project, databases.
Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
Ability to use and present numerical information clearly and accurately.
Excellent organisational, analytical, and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
Proficiency in report writing and the use of relevant software tools.
EDUCATION & PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
Essential:
An undergraduate degree or equivalent professional qualification or work experience.
