This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the financial reporting and control processes for our growing international business portfolio, while working closely with various departments such as Brand Finance, Tax, and our Total Platform teams. Key Responsibilities: As a Finance Business Partner, reporting to the International Finance Manager, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the International and New Business Group team and the broader Group function. Your responsibilities will include: • Preparing balance sheet reconciliations and monthly financial reports (e.g., posting journals, compiling financial packs). • Supporting the setup of new international businesses, ensuring robust processes and controls are in place. • Assisting in the preparation of statutory accounts for our international entities. • Liaising with external auditors and advisors to ensure compliance and accuracy. • Mentoring and overseeing a junior financial accountant, shaping their role and responsibilities. You’ll also contribute to shaping financial reporting processes, ensuring the application of best practices across the business. As part of a newly established team, you’ll have the flexibility to make this role your own, driving improvements and efficiencies across our international operations. What we’re looking for: We’re seeking a fully qualified accountant (ACCA/CIMA) with strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. You should be: • Experienced in developing and improving financial controls, and comfortable challenging existing processes. • A confident communicator, capable of building strong relationships across finance and operational teams. • Highly detail-oriented, ensuring accurate and timely recording and reconciliation of financial information.
