Your Experience Previous experience in the delivery of IT support services within a high-availability, mission-critical Data-Centre. Expertise in the commissioning and decommissioning of rack servers, associated networking and UPSs Experience in real-time disaster recovery plans In-depth knowledge in a variety of Rack / blade server hardware and OS. Comfortable in identifying and resolving capacity-planning issues as well as those within a high-availability environment. Happy to participate in the out-of-hours call-out rota Due to the varied nature of the role, it may be subject to enhanced referencing or vetting. Your Role As part of broader, yet highly committed support team, you will work directly onsite at one of our prestigious global client’s Data Centre in London. The team that you will join is highly-skilled and highly-supportive. It is a team that provides a wide variety of support. Support that ranges from the day-to-day management of the data centre - ensuring that Centre is running to optimum performance and high availability, but also to support commissioning / Decommissioning of rack equipment & associated networking, but also extend your expertise into fault diagnostics and resolution, security access & incident management out-of-hours, as well as play an integral part in both real and simulated Disaster Recovery plans. Project work will also form a part of your work, focusing on data analytics, migrations and database structuring. This role is a leading role and you will have the opportunity to mentor and manage more junior members of the team.
