Project Manager - Consultancy job in Chichester, West Sussex / Hybrid Working
Our client is a Top 150 construction consultancy and due to an increase in workload, they now require a Project Manager to join their team in Chichester, West Sussex, supporting the successful delivery of residential, education and fire safety projects across Hampshire, Sussex and parts of London. The role offers a salary of £45,000 - £65,000 + 25 days holiday + hybrid working.
The multidisciplinary consultancy is made of 7 offices across the Southwest and South Coast and London and circa 100 staff, they offer design, building surveying, quantity surveying, project management, town planning, Fire Engineering and urban design services to a multitude of different sectors including education, residential, commercial and leisure. This role will be initially focused on the successful delivery of projects in relation to fire safety; however, you will also get the opportunity to work across their varied sectors for both refurb and new build projects.
Role & Responsibilities
* Overseeing refurb and new build projects across residential, education and fire safety
* Managing Projects of up to 10m
* Oversee Full life cycle project management from inception to completion
* Site visits
* Programme Management
* Budget Management
* Lead internal and external project teams
* Liaising with Surveying and Cost Management teams.
Required Skills & Experience
* 3+ Years experience as a Project Manager
* Consultancy background, client-side will also be considered (Housing Association or Local Authority)
* Relevant Degree in Building Surveying / Project Management or similar
* Ideally MRICS or working towards or willingness to work towards (MCIOB or MAPM also considered)
* UK Driving Licence and car is essential
* Preferably life-cycle project management experience from inception to completion
* Ideally NEC Contract Suite knowledge.
