I am working with an innovative manufacturing company who are seeking a dynamic sales professional with a "hunter" style approach in their day-to-day attitude who can close a sale with ease and professionalism.
We have an opportunity for a new Business Development Manager role with a strong record of accomplishing new business development. You will be responsible for hunting and developing new accounts in new markets. Dealing at all levels, you will have both an attention to detail, be well organized, and be comfortable at all levels, including at a strategic level.
Responsibilities:
1. Excellent knowledge of development of new business and onboarding of potential customers.
2. Experience in planning, reporting, and managing sales procedures.
3. Proven ability to grow businesses through relationship building, continually driving for new business, and a solution-driven approach.
4. Effective presenter, communicator, and relationship builder at all levels, with the ability to understand and translate the business needs of organizations and individuals.
5. Ability to sell on brand and quality, highly responsive with analytical and problem-solving skills, asking quality questions and selling solutions, negotiating and executing the sale using USP's, advantages & benefits over just price to gain maximum margins.
6. Fully understanding the role that emotion plays in customer experience and being able to fulfill it.
7. Ability to work as part of a team and motivate colleagues.
8. Good hunting and sales growth skills.
9. Advantageous to have past experience in the Battery/Energy storage industry (not essential).
10. Good analytical and communication skills.
11. Communication with a group of customers, selling through training in our product range.
12. Hands-on approach and ability to deliver through others.
13. Positive “can do” attitude.
14. Previous experience in business development, spending most of your time in a proactive sales role, even when your customer base becomes well established.
