Crowd Manager – Event Crowd Management, Stadia Co-Ordinator
Location: On site, Portsmouth Office, at event sites around the UK
Hours of work: 40 hours per week minimum plus additional operational deployment at live projects.
What will the successful candidate be offered?
* £38,000-£43,000pa (£30,000.00 (£14.42ph) based on 5 days per week at 8 hours per day (09:00-17:00) plus all Operational hours paid in addition to the office based hours.
* In addition to the above office based £30,000 amount, you will be paid any Operational hours you work on any project at the prevailing hourly rate.
* Guaranteed annual pay increase of 1.5% (this is a minimum baseline that is usually exceeded)
* CPD budget of 5% of annual salary

* Option of company car after successful completion of three month trial period.

* Bonus of 1% of post costs profit on all live crowd management events within the candidate’s portfolio.
The role
The role has a seasonal element where focus migrates between two streams of work and responsibility:
1. During the UK football season, the co-ordination of teams supplying stadia security and stewarding services to regional stadia.
2. The planning for and execution of small, medium and large-scale crowd management and security projects across the UK throughout the summer season.
Working with Vespasian Directors and Senior Managers you will take a pivotal role in the day-to-day booking, quality management, administration and leadership of stadia security and stewarding teams. Team sizes can number into the hundreds, multiple times per month, often multiple games on the same day.
All candidates will:
* Already hold a current and valid SIA Door Supervision Licence
* Have operated as a Junior or Senior Manager within the security and crowd management industries for more than 24 months.
* Have a passion for the crowd management and security industries and see this as their career path.
* Have a full UK driving licence.
Common and regular duties:
* Manage a portfolio of contracts, leading as the point of contact
* Deployment in support of Vespasian teams.
* Build great professional relationships with clients and operational team alike.
* Bring a proactive and positive approach to all aspects of your work.
* Attend and assist with recruitment events designed to specifically source new team members to fulfil the crowd management event portfolio.
* Attend any necessary meetings with clients, frontline operational teams and the Vespasian head office team.
* Work closely with Vespasian Head Office Team to ensure all staffing resourcing is fulfilled pre-event.
* Take on a series of vocational training courses running concurrently to your working hours, to upskill and develop your knowledge on a continual basis.
Training
On top of your 5% training budget, a suite of training courses will need to be completed, to get you up-to-speed in several aspects of the role.
