About the Role
The Technologist will be part of the dedicated Sportswear team and will report to the Senior Account Manager. Working within a small team, this role will be hands on and will handle of a range of sportswear. The role will predominantly cover ladies, however, there will be an element of mens too.
We are looking for Technologist who is:
1. Experienced in sportswear within the fashion industry
2. A product expert in relation to fabrics, quality and production for sportswear
3. Knowledgeable in terms of garment construction, pattern cutting techniques and the fitting process
4. Highly knowledgeable about consumer product safety requirements and able to interpret relevant legislation to ensure compliance
5. An excellent communicator and someone who is comfortable working with colleagues and customers at all levels
6. Comfortable working in a fast-paced working environment
7. Highly organised, efficient and able to work to tight deadlines
8. Proficient in using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word & Excel)
9. Driven and results orientated
10. Proactive, positive and solutions focused
11. Educated to degree level, ideally in a qualification related to fashion design, business or retail
