SENIOR RECRUITMENT CONSULTANT - TRADES AND LABOUR

Location: EDINBURGH/GLASGOW - The role can be what you make it, covering a large region.
Salary: BASIC CIRCA £70-80K PLUS GENEROUS COMMISSION PACKAGE DEPENDING ON EXPERIENCE.
Our client is one of the UK's largest labour supply agencies and training providers. They are looking to recruit an experienced Senior Recruitment Consultant to join their team, working alongside some of the largest civil engineering projects throughout Scotland.
Client relationships are massively important and are embraced across all regions, leading to our client working with more clients nationwide than any other construction recruitment agency.
This is a well-established office, and you will have the chance to join a fast-paced and dynamic environment. You will work alongside experienced and dedicated resourcers, providing you with the support needed to get your desk up and running in no time.
The Senior Recruitment Consultant will have the ability to open doors with new business, manage existing contracts, match the requirements of clients and candidates, ensure exceptional quality, provide tailored recruitment solutions, and deliver individual revenue targets.
Role & Responsibilities:
1. A background in Construction is essential; you must have worked in a similar role within this industry.
2. A self-starter attitude is essential; you must be able to use your own initiative and be resourceful.
3. Client entertainment is a big part of the company culture; you should be flexible and willing to attend events and meetings.
4. You must have a can-do and positive attitude; an outgoing personality will thrive in this role.
5. Confidence and a strong telephone manner are required; you should be comfortable speaking with people at all levels.
6. Your personal skills must be strong, with the confidence to build rapport with unfamiliar people quickly.
7. A full driving license is required.
8. As you will work with large amounts of sensitive data, you must be aware of current GDPR and information sensitivity laws.
9. Strong IT skills are necessary, along with being a well-presented and enthusiastic individual.
