In line with the councils policies and values, support the development and delivery of a customer focussed, high quality business intelligence service. Support the provision of high quality research and insight support to LCC officers and managers, including Departmental Management, through appropriate communication and dialogue. Support culture change by driving innovation, service transformation and continuous improvement. Ensure the Equality, Diversity and Human Rights considerations are an integral part of performance and business intelligence activities. Demonstrate the Councils values, and a commitment to equality, diversity, and inclusion at all times. Support the identification of opportunities to promote evidence-based decision making throughout the organisation, including supporting managers to ask the right questions at the right time. Identify opportunities to improve the relevance and efficiency of the Business Intelligence Service, including through the co-production of reports and dashboards and automating or streamlining processes. Support the provision of strategic insight, advice and challenge by developing and sustaining effective working relationships (including with other departments and partners). Support the development and promotion of the role and added value of the wider Strategy and Business Intelligence Branch and Business Intelligence Service within and beyond the Council. Flexible and adaptable approach to doing what needs to be done. Responsible for protecting and managing information securely, and reporting breaches or suspected information security breaches, in line with council policies. Support the Team Leader, Business Partner and Research & Insight Managers to plan and deliver a range of research and insight projects. Review, manipulate and cleanse data (where appropriate) and provide high quality analysis and statistical information, including reports and dashboards. Support the delivery of other research and insight programmes and projects within the wider Branch. Lead, manage and deliver multiple small research projects (quantitative and qualitative, including consultations) across a range of areas. Analyse, interpret and add value to a range of internal and external data and information (including socio-economic data). Support the dissemination of the key findings of research and insight across the organisation and partners through the preparation of reports, dashboards and presentations and updating content and data on and other portals as appropriate. Presenting findings when required to staff and to partners. Support and assist in the development of new and innovative research techniques and methods and assist in the development of new approaches to presenting information and evidence to a range of audiences.
