Role Overview
We have an opportunity within the Spirax Group plc Communications team for a highly motivated and proactive individual to help our team shape and deliver the next phase of the Group’s strategic communications programme, which is designed to reach and engage the Group’s key stakeholders, including 10,000 colleagues, investors and media.
In this role you’ll combine your superior administrative skills, project/event management and planning capabilities with a natural curiosity for all things communications, to support a wide range of activities. Reporting directly to the Group Head of Communications, you’ll be working on activities that support the smooth running and overall effectiveness of the function through planning, monitoring and reporting, as well as team and Company event planning and communicating with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
This is a pivotal role that will work closely with the wider Communications function, engage and collaborate with the Group leadership team, Group EAs, and colleagues working across Group functions and our three Businesses. That means we are looking for someone with significant experience in a related role, who enjoys being challenged, has a strong interest in communications and is ready to develop their career within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Spirax Group plc headquarters are in Cheltenham. This opportunity is a hybrid home and office-based role.
Your Objectives And Responsibilities Will Focus On…
1. Support and enhance team workflows to optimise functional effectiveness
2. Arrange and attend key functional meetings and prepare reports
3. Calendar management and maintain activity and content publishing planners
4. Create or maintain activity reports, lookaheads, milestone trackers
5. Provide support to the planning, scheduling and activation phases of specific projects
6. Manage the administrative and planning delivery of key aspects of our Group Awards Programme, including application management and judging process tracking and event management of both the ‘finalist experience’ and Gala Awards Ceremony
7. Support the logistics required for other Group communication activities such as events, conferences, town halls
8. Arrange team meetings, offsites and team building
9. Manage purchasing activity and budget reporting
10. Diary and travel management
