School Administrator - fixed term until 04/04/2025
Longstone Primary School - Nursery
Salary: £23,651 - £23,857 (pro-rata for sessional and part time)
Hours: 30 per week, 40 weeks sessional
During school office hours 8.30 to 3.30 Monday to Thursday, 8.30 to 12.30 Friday.
Longstone Primary School are looking for an experienced Administrator who can provide an efficient and organised service to our school to cover a fixed term post. Previous experience within a school environment would be desirable along with good time management skills and problem solving skills. We are looking for someone with excellent communication and customer service skills who enjoys interacting with parents and carers.
The School Administrator will be responsible for operating and managing financial management, integrated management information and budgetary information systems and services for the school. Additionally, they will be responsible for managing a wide range of administrative, clerical, secretarial and general office support services.
This post is regulated work with children and/or protected adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. The preferred candidate will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check. Where an individual has spent a continuous period of 3 months or more out with the UK in the last 5 years, an Overseas Criminal Record Check will be required. You will be required to provide this check. An unconditional offer of employment and commencement in the post will be subject to the outcome of both these pre-employment checks being deemed satisfactory.
