Accounts Manager / Team Manager

My client a well established construction sub-contractor is seeking to appoint someone to manage their accounts department.
The ideal candidate will be well versed in a management role and be able to run the accounts team. Currently the business Turnover is approx £5M per annum set to grow in 2025 and 2026.
The role will include overseeing and playing an active role in the daily activity of the accounts team form invoicing, sales, company and project P&L's, budgeting, payroll, forecasting and ensuring the business is operating correctly and by adding new processes and procedure to create visibility of the accounts to the SMT.
To be academically qualified would be advantageous however experience in a similar role and sector would also be highly sort after. As a business there is a lot of activity and this will require someone who is used to working within a practical business with lots of moving parts.
This role is a Monday to Friday position, office hours are 9am to 5pm. 37.5 hours a week on a full time basis. However for the right candidate they are open to flexibility of reduced hours or a 4 day week (Pro-rata) should the candidate need flexibility
