Job summary Due to the expansion of the service, we have an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled and dedicated clinical nurse specialist with a focus on stem cell transplant, to join the haematology team at The Christie Hospital. The CNS post holder will work within the busy and dynamic team providing exceptional care, supporting both the inpatient and outpatient setting. The applicant should have haematology experience to be able to support the wide haematology service, and management responsibility of the band 6s Haematology CNS team. Main duties of the job To provide a comprehensive service for patients with acute and chronic malignant haematological disorders. You will provide expert care, advice and support to patients receiving treatment on in-patient and out-patient basis and to their families and as a resource to other staff. This roles includes clinical duties, the development and leadership of nurse-led clinics to provide for the needs of the patients and their families.
