Jewson, a leading building materials distributor in Northern Europe, is on the hunt for a Tool Hire Assistant who is as passionate about great service as we are.

Hours – 7.30 – 5.00 Monday to Friday and every other Saturday morning 8-12.
*Part Time / Flexible working applicants welcomed.
Key Responsibilities
1. Delivery and collection of tools and equipment using a 3.5t vehicle, talking customers through how to use them on site.
2. Carry out basic maintenance and cleaning of our tool hire equipment in the workshop.
3. Develop great relationships with new and existing customers, understanding their needs, and providing advice and solutions to deliver the best experience possible.
4. Use our in-house systems to process customer orders, organise tool hire delivery and collection, keeping customers updated throughout their journey.
5. Working according to Health & Safety compliance.
6. Improving and building sales within the Tool Hire department.

Required Skills and Experience
1. Previous industry experience preferred but not essential.
2. Stellar communication and people skills.
3. Customer-focussed individual.
4. Full driving licence, held for a minimum of 1 year (manual transmission).
