Our client, a long-standing legal firm, is seeking a dedicated Bookkeeper to join their lovely team and contribute to their continued success. Day-to-day of the role: Maintain accurate accounting records and manage the purchase ledger. Handle payroll and holiday administration, ensuring compliance with PAYE, NI, and VAT regulations. Oversee workplace pension administration. Manage Legal Aid Agency claims and debt collection processes. Ensure the firm’s financial operations are efficient and compliant with Solicitors Accounts Rules. Required Skills & Qualifications: Proven experience as a Bookkeeper, preferably within a legal firm. Strong knowledge of Solicitors Accounts Rules. Excellent communication skills and the ability to deal effectively with clients, suppliers, regulators, and fee earners.
