We're excited to offer an exciting opportunity for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a world leader in armour technology manufacturing and vehicle integration, delivering high-performance, lifesaving solutions for the defence and security industry. If you're an experienced engineer with an electrical bias, this role offers the chance to work on global armour technology.
You'll play a key role as a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer by maintaining the buildings, plants and equipment on site.
Responsibilities:
Complete site TPM programme
Attend and complete breakdowns on plant and equipment.
Oversee outside contractors on site.
Maintain Building services in line with legislation and site expectations.
Maintain EHS equipment and systems.
Maintain maintenance service records.
Skills / Knowledge desired:
Time served multi skilled maintenance engineer (electrically bias)
Relevant experience.
Electrical background (BS 7671)
Knowledge of waterjet cutting systems (advantage)
Understanding of hydraulic systems and compression moulding presses
Knowledge of steam generation (advantage)
Ability to fault find on electrical and mechanical systems.
City & guilds / HNC / ONC (advantage)
Forklift truck licence (advantage)
Good IT experience with Microsoft Packages such as Word and Excel
MEWP licence (advantage)Benefits:

The role requires working three different shifts (Monday to Friday) that will rotate every week to cover the three time-frames below:

Please Note: This role will require occasional weekend work to meet production deadlines and business needs. We are looking for candidates who are flexible and able to adapt to these demands when necessary.
