Service Advisor Job Description
As a Service Advisor, you will ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction and care for vehicle servicing and repair. You are the principal point of contact for all customer communication while the vehicle is in our Dealership. You will have excellent communication and organizational skills to deal with customers face to face, via E-mail, or over the phone, always delivering an incredible experience to all, whether internal or external customers.
As a Service Advisor, you are quick to identify the needs of customers and opportunities to upsell. You can work to tight timescales and thrive under the pressure of a busy service department. Alongside your customer-first attitude, you will maximize sales, maintain customer retention, and aim to achieve targets. You will possess a passion for the product and deliver incredible customer service in everything you do.
Your responsibilities will include:
1. Booking service and repair work, ensuring workshop and parts availability.
2. Keeping customers fully informed of progress and advising on any extra work needed.
3. Organizing loan car bookings.
4. Obtaining and processing payments according to company policies.
5. Achieving hours sold targets as a member of a motivated team.
6. Ensuring the WIP is kept to a minimum.
7. Maintaining accurate customer records on Keyloop to meet the Manufacturers' expectations.
8. Making telephone or e-mail contact with customers to follow-up, upsell, and progress.

Daily Responsibilities:
* Receive Incoming Calls: React accordingly to customer requests.
* Front Counter: Welcome customers professionally when dropping off or collecting vehicles, confirming job card details.
* E-mail Enquiries: Respond promptly and professionally to customer requests.
* Creation of Job Cards: Ensure all relevant customer details are correct and job cards are prepared in advance.
* Progress No Shows: Contact customers following a no-show to organize an alternative date.
* Creation of Breakdown Job Cards: Ensure all relevant customer details are correct and necessary paperwork is included.
* Updating Customers: Keep customers updated throughout their visit, especially regarding delays.
* Vehicle Completion: Contact customers as soon as vehicles are complete and ensure payment methods are obtained prior to collection.
Schedule: Monday – Friday 8.00am – 5.30pm
