What you’ll do:
We're now looking for a Plant Controller who will provide financial control and integrity to the site's financial reporting and analysis, have full ownership of the financial statements, and partner with the plant manager and leadership team to deliver predictability and growth.
Responsibilities:
* Act as a key business partner to the Plants’ Leadership teams in all matters relating to operating strategies and decisions
* Own the P&L and Balance Sheet and analyze all relevant impacts to the P&L and drive priorities with a focus on long-term sustainability, growth, and profitability
* Provide financial insight into business operating reviews
* Proactively drive continuous improvements in financial and business practices
* Provide accurate and timely financial analysis and reports to aid in profitably managing the business and make recommendations to compensate for variances when detected
* Full understanding of Manufacturing processes and project cost and variance analysis in order to analyze operational and financial data, investigate variances, identify business drivers, and evaluate their impact on planned objectives
* Provide financial support on business initiatives, including investment appraisal, cost productivity, monitoring performance, and key projects i.e. Variable costs management, E&O, SG&A costs control
* Work with the plant leadership team and managers to enhance their understanding of the relationship between performance indicators, decision-making processes, and future financial performance. Inform them of results and recommend corrective actions to address unfavorable variances
* Plant Controllers to be supported in all tasks by the BU central finance team and the FP&A team
Qualifications:
* Professional Accounting qualification Degree desirable
* 7 Years+ Experience, including time within Manufacturing and Standard costing environment
* Plant Controller experience desirable
Skills:
* SAP essential, ENCORE desirable. Excel advanced level
* Strong communication skills
