About the Role
Are you a consumer technical insights professional with a knack for turning data into strategy? We’re incredibly excited to be working exclusively with a global multibillion dollar consumer brand.
We’re on the hunt for a Senior Consumer Technical Insights Manager to join an expanding team in a fast-moving and innovative $80bn category. In this role, you’ll help shape the future of our beloved consumer products by bringing a deep understanding of consumer behaviour and market trends to the table.
Working closely with R&D, marketing, and supply chain teams, you’ll lead the charge in creating data-driven strategies that ensure our products deliver exceptional experiences and stand out in a competitive market. If you enjoy combining creativity with data and have a passion for consumer-driven innovation, this is the perfect role for you.
The role will suit someone who is 1) working client side in an existing CTI role or 2) working client side in a CMI role (if the focus is on innovation research) or 3) you could be working agency side in a product testing/CTI/sensory research role.
What You’ll Do
* Lead consumer and sensory research projects to uncover trends, preferences, and behaviours that shape the future of iconic products.
* Develop and implement innovative research strategies to support long-term product development and market growth.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consumer needs are at the heart of every product we launch.
* Spot emerging trends and turn them into actionable opportunities for product innovation.
* Introduce and apply cutting-edge research methods to enhance our understanding of why consumers choose our products.
* Regularly engage with external research agencies and drive improvements in our insights approach.
* Stay ahead of market shifts and technology advancements, ensuring our brand continues to thrive.

What We’re Looking For
* Strong background in consumer insights, market research with leadership experience under your belt.
* 5 plus years’ experience at Manager level in consumer insights or technical insights roles, ideally within FMCG/food.
* Background in innovation research/product testing research and/or sensory research is essential.
* Excellent analytical skills and a proven ability to translate data into actionable business strategies.
* Confident communicator who can present complex insights in a clear and engaging way to non-technical stakeholders.
* Experience with a variety of research methods, from sensory analysis to AI-driven tools.
* A proactive problem-solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can handle multiple priorities.
* Willingness for European travel.
