Salary: £130 - £170 per day (dependent on experience)

About the Role:
We are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Key Stage 2 (KS2) Supply Teachers to join our pool of staff, working across the WF postcode area, including Wakefield and surrounding towns. This is a fantastic opportunity for passionate educators to experience working in a variety of school settings, while maintaining a flexible work-life balance.
As a KS2 Supply Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum, ensuring a high standard of teaching and learning. You may be covering planned absences, sickness, or other staffing needs in local primary schools. Flexibility, adaptability, and strong classroom management skills are essential in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality teaching and learning in line with the KS2 national curriculum.
- Maintain a positive learning environment, ensuring the well-being and development of all pupils.
- Mark and assess students' work, providing constructive feedback.
- Follow school policies and procedures, including behaviour and safeguarding protocols.
- Adapt quickly to new school environments, building rapport with students and staff.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Previous experience teaching in KS2 is essential.
- Strong classroom management skills.
- Flexibility and willingness to work in different school environments.
- A valid enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
