Alexander James Recruiting is working with a leading supplier of a wide variety of industrial products to include handling equipment, shelving, containers and pallets seeking a new sales person to cover an area across the North East of England. With a competitive package, this is a great opportunity for an experienced sales professional from an industrial/consumable sales background seeking a new opportunity.
Responsibilities
1. Manage a number of industrial accounts across the North East of England
2. Sell a variety of products to end users to include handling equipment, shelving/lockers, boxes, pallets and consumables
3. Work with distributors of these products to ensure the best products are sourced for the customer
4. Attend monthly sales meetings at the company's head office
Requirements
Our client is open to individuals from other sales backgrounds related to the various equipment they sell. It is preferable that the successful candidate has a background in selling industrial products or consumables or at least experience of selling in high volume. Experience of handling/lifting equipment such as pallet trucks, shelving or other warehouse-focused products would be beneficial though not essential. Given the nature of the travel expectations of the position and where most of the business sites, an individual based in the North East would be suitable in terms of location.
