Our independent clients operate this quality Italian restaurant in this quaint country village in East Yorkshire, commutable to Leeds, York & Doncaster, providing high-end Italian dining from their professional modern kitchen.
This lovely restaurant is looking to recruit an experienced Chef de Partie to join the kitchen in this very talented team, where you WILL learn.
With an emphasis on local, seasonal foods, cooked using modern & interesting techniques, with the latest chefs' kit, this is a great opportunity for a career-minded chef to make a name for themselves in a very supportive environment.
Accommodation is available for the short to medium term.
The ideal Chef de Partie will have the following attributes:
1. Knowledge of Italian foods would be an advantage, as would previous experience working with fresh pizza dough.
2. Ideally worked in a fresh food-led kitchen, although a desire to learn is just as important.
3. Be able to demonstrate at least 1 year in a similar position; no jumpy chefs here.
4. Own transport would be ideal due to location, although there are good public transport links into Leeds & York.
5. Have the desire & attitude to learn every day, soak up the style of service, and high standards of the kitchens; hard work, passion & desire are the attributes my client is looking for.
