Job Description:
The Procurement Administrator will play a key part in supporting the department on a transformational journey to improve service delivery. The successful candidate will be responsible for raising purchase orders, maintaining system data accuracy, and providing administrative support to the Procurement Team. This position offers opportunities for growth and development while ensuring timely processing of purchase orders and adherence to Procurement Policy and Process.
Responsibilities
* Accurate processing of purchase orders, maintenance of purchase order system, and administrative support for the Procurement team.
* Convert Purchase Requisitions into Purchase Orders and maintain blanket orders.
* Accurately enter Purchase Order information and maintain Supplier records.
* Process change PO transactions for incorrect cost centre or G/L accounts.
* Support Bill 198 by closing Purchase Orders and Goods Receipts as necessary.
* Ensure compliance with Procurement Policy and Process.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
* Relevant experience in procurement/purchasing administration
* Proficiency in MS Excel, Word & Outlook, good numerical skills, problem-solving, attention to detail, planning and organizing
* Familiarity with SAP Ariba is desirable
