37.5 hours | The Yorkshire Clinic
The role
Ramsay Health Care UK is part of a global hospital operating group and is now the 4th largest provider of private healthcare in the world. This is an exciting opportunity to join a friendly, dynamic and progressive senior leadership team as The Yorkshire Clinic Head of Operations.
Reporting to the Hospital Director, you’ll ensure the successful operation of The Yorkshire Clinic, taking responsibility for the non-clinical departments which underpin our ability to provide excellent care to patients. With a focus on innovation, you’ll ensure that our services deliver the highest standards, whilst meeting budgetary requirements and business deadlines. As our Head of Operations you’ll be expected to build and develop key relationships with stakeholders across the business, supporting our central functions to deliver and implement commercial strategies and systems.
Where you’ll be based
This role is based at a leading private hospital The Yorkshire Clinic, Bingley and Oakdene House, Cottingley Business Park, Cottingley. We have five fully equipped theatres, four with laminar flow, a dedicated and JAG accredited endoscopy unit, and fourteen outpatient consulting rooms with associated examination and treatment facilities. Other outpatient facilities include, The Lodge Ophthalmic Centre, physiotherapy, pharmacy, audiology, radiology, ultrasound, MRI and CT.
What you’ll bring with you
1. Management experience with proven ability to manage multi-disciplinary teams
2. Effective written and verbal communication skills
3. Experience of working within budgetary targets and KPIs
4. A flexible, can do, innovative approach to your work
5. A completer - finisher with strong planning and organisational skills
6. Demonstrate financial and commercial acumen (ideally through previous P&L responsibility)
7. Qualification in management or similar qualification – desirable
8. Previous private health experience would be an advantage
