About the role
Joining our growing Finance department, an opportunity has become available as Senior Financial Accountant to support our overall Accounts Payable function.
* Daily processing of invoices, payments, and receipts, ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately and in a timely manner.
* Reconcile bank statements and internal ledgers, ensuring that discrepancies are promptly addressed.
* Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including balance sheets, profit & loss statements, and cash flow statements.
* Prepare and ensure the timely submission of all required tax filings and compliance reports, including VAT, corporate income tax etc.
* Review and process employee expense claims, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations.
* Assist in internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and resolving any audit queries.
* Maintain and update the general ledger, ensuring all transactions are properly classified and supported with relevant documentation.
* Work closely with other departments to ensure smooth communication and accurate financial data flow.
* Perform other ad hoc financial tasks as required by the Finance Manager or leadership team.
About you
* Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field. A professional qualification (e.g., ACCA, CPA, CA) is a plus.
* Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role, preferably within the Real Estate industry.
* Netsuite use preferred (or relevant accounting software).
* Understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
* Strong knowledge of IFRS, tax regulations, and financial reporting requirements.
* High attention to detail, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Please note, this role is based onsite 5 days per week at our Headquarters (Knightsbridge).
