Service Readiness Manager (Telecoms)

Location: Reading (2 days per week in the office)
Are you an experienced Service Readiness Manager with a strong background in IP/ Transport services?
We're looking for a proactive professional to ensure seamless service design, implementation, and operational support.
What You'll Be Responsible For:
* Developing and enforcing the Service Design framework, covering:
* SLAs & OLAs - Ensuring service level expectations are met
* Service Definition & Catalogue - Clear documentation of offerings
* Security Compliance - Aligning with industry standards
* Operational Support Systems (OSS) - Ensuring smooth integration
* Configuration Management - Establishing a robust baseline
* Service Support Manuals & Policy Frameworks - Standardizing processes
Essential Skills & Experience:
* Networking Knowledge - Routing, Switching, WANs, ISPs, Load Balancing
* Cloud & Virtual Networks - Hardware appliance & virtual/cloud networking
* Network Security - Firewalls, VPNs, Vulnerability Scanning, Proxies, SIEM/SOC
