Altery could be the next chapter in your professional journey As a KYC Analyst in our Anti Financial Crime team, you will play a vital role in conducting thorough reviews of KYC profiles to ensure they meet internal policies, procedures, and regulatory standards. Your work will focus on onboarding new customers, addressing trigger events, and performing regular reviews. This role also involves close collaboration with Compliance stakeholders, the corporate client Account Management Team, and the KYC Quality Assurance Team to maintain adherence to established processes. What you'll be doing Conducts thorough due diligence on new customers, verifying their identities, analyses documentation, and ensures compliance with AML regulations. Examines KYC profiles regularly and in response to trigger events, ensuring compliance with policies and standards. Provide primary reviews of KYC documentation, particularly for manual exceptions Conduct timely outreach to clients, effectively closing gaps when supporting documentation is not compliant. Continuously update and apply changes to processes, procedures and policies. Identify and recommend process improvements to the Head of KYC to improve the effectiveness of the KYC process. Suggest process improvements to the KYC Manager to improve the effectiveness of the KYC process. Collaborates with minimal management to develop procedures for daily tasks using knowledge of regulations, best practices and thorough research. Identifies and implements process improvements, providing expert support for key process and technology initiatives. What you’ll bring to us Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in KYC roles, performing CDD and EDD. Experience in Banking or Financial Services with a focus on UK Risk and Financial Crime. Hands-on experience with AML and KYC processes. Skills in using various digital identity, verification and KYB tools to validate the purpose and legitimacy of the client. Ability to accurately document research and analysis results in accordance with KYC standards. Experience in analysing customer transactions and behaviour to identify financial crime red flags. Decision making self-starter with strong analytical and problem solving skills, able to handle a high volume of tasks with close attention to detail, with minimal supervision.
