Responsibilities:
* Oversee the company’s financial operations, including accounts and investments.
* Prepare and analyse monthly and annual financial reports to assess performance, identify trends, and forecast outcomes.
* Monitor and manage cash flow by reviewing transactions and evaluating internal financial statements.
* Recommend enhancements to financial systems, covering payroll, invoicing, and related processes.
* Ensure all financial activities are accurately documented, organised, and reported.
* Design and implement financial reporting frameworks to meet legal and regulatory requirements.
* Work closely with auditors to maintain compliance with financial regulations.
* Create and manage budgets and financial strategies informed by data and research.
* Regularly review budgets and financial plans to identify cost-saving opportunities.
* Scrutinise financial reports and data to identify and address inconsistencies.
* Develop systems to minimise errors in data collection and calculations.
* Deliver timely, accurate financial updates and insights to the CEO.
* Support the CEO in preparing presentations for executives, stakeholders, and board members.
Human Resources and Office Management:
* Introduce and oversee the management of HR functions, including payroll, pensions, and benefits.
* Manage new hire onboarding, including inductions, handovers, and coordination of IT and property-related matters for new starters and leavers.
Administrative and Compliance:
* Handle staff expense claims, compliance tasks, and timely payment processing.
* Review and improve processes for managing audits, financial compliance, and internal approvals.
Essential:
* ACA qualified Chartered Accountant
* Degree in business, finance or related field
* Minimum 7 year experience in relevant role
* Exceptional Financial and Mathematical Acumen
