Flourish Education is currently recruiting a Primary Teaching Assistant to work with an Ofsted-rated ‘Good’ Primary school in Highgate to join their support staff team on a long-term basis. The school aim to help each child receive a balanced intellectual, spiritual, social, cultural, emotional and physical education.
Our client wants to appoint a passionate Teaching Assistant to work in a Reception class who is nurturing and has a good knowledge of the curriculum. Responsibilities in this role will include providing support to the teacher, preparing the classroom ahead of lessons, showing a high standard of modelling and supporting children with additional needs in the class. Personal care will also be required.
This Teaching Assistant role is to start ASAP and will be on going. The position is full-time. The working hours for this school are 8:15-15:30 Monday – Thursday and Friday 8:15-13:00.
Required Skills and Experience for this Teaching Assistant role:
* Minimum Level 3 Qualification
* Experience working in EYFS particularly Reception
* Effectively manage the behaviour and engagement of the children
* Provide an engaging learning environment
* Work closely with the class teacher
* Conduct interventions and small group work when needed
* Commitment to the role
* Personal care when needed
Working for Flourish Education as a Teaching Assistant you will receive:
* £85.02 day rate to £100 day rate which equates to £16,578.90 per annum to £19,500 per annum based on working 5 days a week for a full school year
