Job Overview The Telecommunications Engineering position will require a person that has a good background in engineering design and integration of typical telecommunications systems e.g. PAGA, Networking, Radio systems (including mobile phone networks), Security systems, POB systems etc Key Tasks and Responsibilities: - Perform Detailed Design of individual telecommunications systems, including all necessary integration activities. - Development and review of project philosophies, specifications, block diagrams, material take offs, requisition package, scopes of work and other base design documentation - Perform or manage system studies, Radio, PAGA & CCTV (subject to requirements) - Management of interfaces - Package requisition and management - Reviews vendor documentation - Supports purchasing and field construction teams - Performs work in a timely manner Essential Qualifications and Education: - Engineering Degree - Typically has the following years of detail control & instrumentation engineering experience: - Minimum 15 years experience - Is proficient with codes and standards, typically IEC, BS and ANSI. - Is current on new scientific engineering methods and possesses a broad technical knowledge of the detail design engineering process. - Is capable of appropriate use of computer applications and other specialized engineering tools - Chartered Engineer (CEng) status and Member of a Professional Institution is preferable - Capable of working under pressure - Good written/spoken English - Communicative skills (meetings, reporting) - Flexible to travel to domestic and international locations as necessary to attend meetings and factory acceptance tests - Interaction with multiple operational execution centers (MOPEX) - Experience in contracting or related industries LI-HYBRID LI-JA1 Lutech Resources has over 25 years' experience providing tailor made recruitment and integrated resource management to leading Engineering, Energy and Manufacturing sector companies worldwide.
