ER (Employee Relations) Advisor Southern region (M4 corridor/Swindon/Reading/Basingstoke/Bristol) Permanent with: PART TIME HOURS - 30 hours - Monday to Friday Competitive salary plus benefits At Adler and Allan, we are on a tremendous growth path, with our HR function developing into a first-class service for the organisation, we have identified the need of additional support in the shape of an ER Advisor As our Employee Relations Advisor, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our HR Business Partners across our sites and divisions across the UK. Some travel is required for this role, this will enable your success by building relationships where you can influence and hold a rigid and robust process for your cases, also worth adding there are tonnes of opportunity to support and get involved with other HR work to develop your skills and keep workload varied More about the role: Provide expert advice and guidance to employees and managers on employee relations matters, ensuring compliance with employment laws and company policies. Help resolve workplace conflicts and disputes through proactive mediation and effective communication strategies. Conduct thorough and unbiased investigations into employee complaints and grievances, ensuring a fair and transparent process. Develop and implement strategies to enhance employee engagement, morale, and productivity. Collaborate with HR and management teams to develop and implement policies and procedures that promote positive employee relations. Provide training and support to managers on employee relations best practices, ensuring they have the knowledge and skills to handle employee issues effectively. Stay updated with changes in employment legislation and industry trends, ensuring compliance and recommending necessary adjustments to policies and procedures. Analyse employee relations data and trends to identify potential areas of concern and develop proactive strategies for improvement. About you: You will bring along your experience of a high volume/fast paced ER role (or a HR role with heavy ER as part of the role) Someone that would thrive will come from a background of fast paced operational industries (retail, manufacturing, logistics etc) You won't be afraid to say no or to push back, you have the knowledge and skills to recognise you are an expert in your area and guide where needed.
