We have an exciting opportunity to work within the rapidly expanding engineering facilities at the University of Central Lancashire.
The post holder will play a crucial role as part of a highly skilled Workshops & Engineering team, supporting the Additive Manufacturing Suite on the Preston campus. Responsibilities will include support for the following subject areas: mechanical engineering, motorsport, aerospace, robotics, architecture, and more.
The successful candidate will primarily focus on supporting master's degree classes, undergraduate projects, and research projects.
Qualifications required include ONC, HNC, HND, BSc, or equivalent experiential learning in a related discipline. The candidate should possess a range of relevant additive manufacturing and reverse engineering skills, knowledge, and experience. They must have the ability to work independently, set priorities, and collaborate within a diverse team. Good verbal and written communication skills are essential.
