We are proud of our world-famous thriving city with its rich culture, affordable housing, stunning waterfront and our beautiful green spaces – there’s really something for everyone The role: The Parking Services team within Liverpool City Council’s Neighbourhoods and Housing directorate is growing and we are currently looking to recruit a Blue Badge Enforcement Manager to join us at this exciting time The Blue Badge Enforcement Manager role involves overseeing an efficient and effective delivery of Blue Badge enforcement and investigations, in relation to the fraudulent use, abuse and misuse of the Blue Badge Scheme within Liverpool City Council’s Parking Services. The post holder will coordinate responses to any appeals of Blue Badge confiscations and prosecutions, ensuring all forms of correspondence are compliant with statutory guidelines and GDPR. They will provide leadership and guidance to Blue Badge Enforcement Officers, ensuring they are sufficiently trained to conduct thorough investigation and prosecution processes, in accordance with policies and procedures. The Blue Badge Enforcement Manager role involves working shifts and you will receive shift allowance and weekend enhancements as determined by your rota. We work various shifts from 7:00am-3:00pm, 10:00am-6:00pm and 1:00pm-9:00pm. We are looking for candidates who have high standards of customer care, excellent communication and leadership skills, and detailed knowledge of the Highway Code and relevant parking legislation.
