We have an exciting opportunity for a Clinical Governance Facilitator to join our HCA Laboratories. The Clinical Governance Facilitator works closely with the HCA Laboratories Quality Managers and Head of Governance, Quality & Risk to ensure high standards of compliance are maintained and that quality improvement initiatives are effectively facilitated to promote a positive culture of quality improvement.

What you’ll do:
* Play a key role in the co-ordination and delivery of risk and governance across the Division and up to the Corporate team.
* Promote among staff a culture of openness and responsiveness to the reporting of risks and incidents to engender an ethos of constructive and positive learning from mistakes within a performance-based culture, a willingness to find imaginative solutions to problems, and to use information as the basis for reflection and action.
* Work with the Medical Director and Corporate Governance teams to respond to complaints.
* Contribute to the development of meeting external agency requirements, through collaboration with the Quality Managers and Heads of Department in the identification of goals or weaknesses in processes or procedures.
* Assist in the co-ordination of investigation of significant and serious incidents, ensuring that lessons learned are communicated to the relevant departments and that processes and procedures are amended accordingly to reflect the appropriate corrective action.
* Develop and maintain external and internal professional networks acting as a link between external organisations, facilities, and HCA colleagues to support and further develop the care excellence differentiation agenda.

What you’ll bring:
* Experience of quality improvement, clinical audit, policy management, governance.
* Previous experience in collating and interpreting data.
* Knowledge of Datix and Meditech highly desirable.
* Knowledge of risk, clinical governance, and quality systems.
* Excellent verbal and written communication.
* Highly IT literate – Word, advanced Excel, and PowerPoint.
