Stannah has an exciting opportunity for a Stairlift Refurbishment Operative to join the Operations Department based in Andover
This job will involve preparing and refurbishing stairlift products, ensuring they meet compliance and quality standards, along with warehouse duties and stock control.
As the Stairlift Refurbishment Operative, you will work full-time. This job is a permanent position.
This is a great opportunity for someone with mechanical or electrical knowledge and a keen eye for detail who enjoys working in a hands-on environment.
Stairlift Refurbishment Operative Responsibilities:
* Prepare and refurbish stairlifts, ensuring they are fully tested, defect-free, and meet compliance standards.
* Pack and secure refurbished stairlifts, ensuring all necessary parts are included.
* Carry out warehouse duties, including stock control, booking in returned stairlifts, and completing stocktakes.
* Maintain a clean and safe working environment, ensuring waste is disposed of correctly.
* Engage in continuous improvement activities to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Stairlift Refurbishment Operative Requirements:
* Experience using basic hand tools.
* Basic mechanical and electrical knowledge (desirable).
* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Commitment to health & safety and continuous improvement.
