You will be responsible for managing all aspects related to delivering our inflight catering meals on time. This includes managing a team of Drivers, Flight Handlers and our Search and Seal team. This includes overseeing the operational planning of flight and people schedules and managing the airside operations. Through strong communication, with all internal and external stakeholders you will ensure the delivery of an exceptional level of service to our clients. Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities Ensure all transports requirements are arranged and meeting required transit. Manage developing drivers to operate safely and efficiently. Ensure successful delivery performance, through monitoring driver performance throughout the day. Manage customer queries regarding failed deliveries in a courteous and professional manner. Control the scheduling of deliveries, allocation of loads, monitoring of delivery performance and maintenance of efficient delivery service in line with customer service targets. Team Management - Holiday / Sickness reporting - Monthly 1-2-1 reviews - Personnel Development Performance - Training / Coaching - Induction and Probation reviews. Ensure any disciplinary action is carried out following company procedure and aim to resolve grievances by leading by example. Non-Conformance reporting to Line Manager. One to one feedback with teams. Monitor all tachograph requirements and compliance. Investigation of any incidents and delays and report findings to Line Manager. Ensure you are aware and comply with QHSE policies and procedures. Ensure you understand Newrest Non-negotiables and adhere to these at all times. Ensure staff are supervised at appropriate levels and comply with all HSE rules and procedures. Responsible for reporting all accident/hazards/near misses, in your area in line with Newrest requirements. Establish who is reporting any accident/hazards/near misses you witness or are involved in at any time. Guarantee the implementation and compliance with Newrest HSE standards at all times. Comply with all unit Corporate, Social, Responsibility initiatives. Interact with, colleagues, customers and clients in a professional manner at all times.
