We're seeking an Production Planner for a key role in our Procurement & Supply Chain Department within a Industrial/Manufacturing operation. The successful candidate will manage all aspects of material planning, scheduling, and inventory control. Description The Production planner will be responsible for; Manage material planning and inventory control for assembly level planning. Ensure timely and efficient scheduling of procurement activities. Coordinate with various departments for smooth workflow. Implement process improvements for increased efficiency. Monitor supply chain activities to avoid delays and complications. Work closely with suppliers and negotiate contracts as required. Foster a collaborative environment within the Procurement & Supply Chain Department. Contribute to the overall success of the industrial/manufacturing operations. Profile A successful Production Planner should have: Qualifications in supply chain management or a related field. Proficiency in inventory management software. Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities. Excellent negotiation skills. A good understanding of procurement processes in the industrial/manufacturing sector.
