Commercial and Cultural Development Manager(Theatre Director)
Starting salary £57,328 (inclusive of local weighting) – Grade 12
Full time 37 Hours PW, Permanent
Based in the new BEAM venue in Hertford with the option for some home working, where appropriate.

BEAM Hertford, combines a thriving theatre, 3 cinema screens, a dynamic and flexible studio-theatre space and versatile community spaces with growing food and beverage services. What will you be doing?
* Leading the development and implementation of an innovative and inclusive cultural programme that reflects the diversity of our community and engages audiences.
* Driving the financial strategy of the venue to increase revenue through ticket sales, partnerships, sponsorships, and fundraising activities.
* Developing and executing marketing and audience development plans to expand our reach and enhance our reputation.
* Leading the management of venue operations, ensuring high standards of customer service and experience.
* Working across your team, colleagues within East Herts Council and other partners to maximise the impact of this venue both culturally and financially
About you
As an ideal candidate, you will have:
* Strong financial acumen and experience in budget management and income generation.
* Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders and community groups.
* Proven experience in a leadership role within a venue setting, preferably arts, cultural or entertainment
* An ability to balance commercial drivers and programming variety to offer a diverse range of events and activities.
