About the role
Connex Education are excited to be working with a number of excellent primary schools across the Derby area, offering flexible supply teaching opportunities throughout the summer term.
We’re seeking enthusiastic, adaptable, and passionate Primary Teachers who can work across Key Stage 1 and 2. Whether you’re looking for full-time or part-time supply work, we have a wide range of opportunities to suit your availability and lifestyle.
Our Derby schools are inclusive and supportive, with strong communities and dedicated staff teams. As a supply teacher, you’ll be welcomed into these schools, delivering pre-planned lessons and helping to create a positive learning environment for all pupils.
This is a fantastic chance to gain experience in a variety of settings, build new relationships, and enjoy the flexibility to choose when and where you work.
Assignment details
These supply roles are available immediately and will run throughout the summer term. For the right candidates, many placements offer the opportunity to go long-term or even permanent.

Person Specification
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Flexible, proactive attitude and strong teamworking skills
• A solid understanding of the primary curriculum
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one)
