We are a friendly multi- disciplined department providing a service to our breast screening population with three mobile screening units and our base unit at Princess Anne Hospital. All assessment clinics as well as symptomatic clinics are held at the Princess Anne Hospital. We are looking for an individual well versed with social media and willing to take on a lead role in interacting with our client base and being a GP liaison and forming relations with key stake holders in the breast screening programme. Health promotion plays an important role today in screening provision and the successful candidate will be tasked with coordinating the Health promotion aspect of the National Breast Screening programme.

To be responsible for and co-ordinate the Southampton & Salisbury Breast Screening service, developing and maintaining 3-year strategic round plan. Co-ordinate and help manage the symptomatic 2 week wait referral pathway.
To identify areas of service improvement within the Unit and lead on projects to enhance the availability of resources and streamline processes to improve patient throughput and patient experience.
To oversee the delivery of national breast screening targets, negotiating with consultant clinicians when necessary to ensure throughput of patient activity, flexing capacity where possible and escalating to the CGM as appropriate.

8. Work closely with and maintain excellent communication channels with both clinical and administrative staff. 9.
