As a Driver Technician, you will support operational delivery of the Test and Monitoring business, you'll be responsible for delivering a best-in-class service to our customers using your experience to help our customers with on-site issues, diagnosing and guiding them through procedures and fault diagnosis of the Test and Monitoring equipment. Key responsibilities. Undertake calibration of the equipment. Diagnose and fix equipment where needed. Ensuring the safe use of all the equipment. Ensure audit and compliance systems are kept up to date and adhered too. To ensure that all reporting, administration is completed / maintained in line with Company standards. Involvement with onsite projects Adhering to and promoting Health and Safety and compliance of equipment standards. Maintaining effective relationships with all internal and external stakeholders. Working with operations to resolve customer issues promptly and to the satisfaction of all concerned. KPI management including effectively working towards key team targets. To raise the Sunbelt Rentals profile and reputation through professional attitude. Adhere to and promote all health and safety standards and ensure all employees do the same to generate a safe working environment. What can we offer you in return? To succeed in this role you will bring the following skill-set and behaviours: Proven experience in a Technical Support role, preferably handling service and repair enquiries however training will be provided. Technical expertise is desirable. Strong commitment to delivering high standards. Exceptional communication skills, you’ll have the ability to engage and build relationships with both internal and external customers An inquisitive mind, you'll enjoy analysing and problem solving - thinking quickly to provide immediate solutions to complex customer on-site service issues An effective team member with a highly supportive, collaborative approach A flexible and adaptable person, you’ll enjoy a varied workday in a fast-paced operational environment where you’ll manage multiple tasks, deadlines and targets whilst maintaining high standards of accuracy A commitment to continuous improvement, puts forward and acts on suggestions to improve processes and service levels Computer literate. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Flexible working mentality in line with business requirements including occasional weekends and additional hours connected to site-based work.
