Grafton Banks Finance Recruitment is seeking a Temporary Accounts Payable Assistant to join an exciting client located on the outskirts of Horsham, West Sussex. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual with a strong understanding of accounts payable processes who is looking to gain valuable experience in a supportive environment. This temporary position will have opportunity to be made permanent and is fully office based.
Key Responsibilities:
* Advise the finance team on transactions during month-end closing procedures.
* Process and run payments and expenses efficiently and accurately.
* Liaise with the purchasing department regarding raised Purchase Orders (POs), ensuring all information is correct and complete.
* Assist in resolving any discrepancies related to invoices and payments.
* Support the finance team with general accounts payable queries and tasks as needed.
Requirements:
* Previous experience in an accounts payable/purchase ledger
* Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
* Ability to commute to Horsham area on a daily basis (you will need to be able to drive/access to transport).
* Available to start a temporary position on immediate notice
