SEN Maths Teacher – Full-Time

Pay: £150 - £160 per day

Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated and experienced SEN Maths Teacher to join a specialist education setting in Devon. This is a full-time opportunity for a passionate educator who can engage and support students with Special Educational Needs (SEN), including Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs and other complex learning difficulties.
Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated Maths lessons that cater to a range of abilities and learning needs.
* Adapt teaching methods to ensure accessibility for students with SEN and additional needs.
* Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment that promotes confidence and engagement in Maths.
* Work closely with SENCOs, support staff, and other professionals to provide tailored support for each student.
* Implement effective behaviour management strategies to encourage positive learning experiences.
* Monitor and assess student progress, adapting teaching strategies where necessary.
Minimum Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
* Experience working with SEN students, particularly those with SEMH needs.
* A strong understanding of differentiated instruction and individualised learning plans.
* Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to adapt to diverse learning needs.
* A genuine passion for supporting students with additional needs and helping them achieve their full potential.
