As part of our expansion into the Projects market, we are now seeking a driven, forward-thinking salesperson to generate new business and manage an existing pipeline of customers.
About Initier Projects
Initier Projects operates across three core areas: Facilities Maintenance, Project Delivery, and Packages of Work within the Domestic, Commercial, and Industrial sectors. We are eager to onboard a tenacious sales professional with a passion for market building and personal growth within our new division.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead Generation & Prospecting
o Identify new business opportunities through research, cold calling, and networking.
o Attend industry events, trade shows, and conferences to establish client relationships.
2. Client Meetings & Presentations
o Conduct in-person meetings with clients and prospects to present tailored solutions.
o Provide presentations that address specific client needs and demonstrate value.
3. Market Research & Analysis
o Analyse market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities.
o Align sales strategies with market demands.
4. Relationship Building
o Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients.
o Serve as the main point of contact for client inquiries, feedback, and support.
5. Sales Pipeline Management
o Manage a pipeline of prospects from lead generation through to deal closure.
o Regularly update CRM systems with contact information, notes, and activity.
6. Negotiating Contracts
o Negotiate terms, pricing, and agreements to secure deals.
7. Sales Target Achievement
o Meet or exceed personal and team sales targets and KPIs (e.g., revenue, new accounts).
o Develop and implement sales strategies to drive results.
8. Reporting & Forecasting
o Prepare and submit reports on sales activity, forecasts, and performance metrics to management.
o Provide insights into market conditions to refine business strategy.
9. Collaboration with Internal Teams
o Work closely with marketing, product development, and operations teams to meet client needs.
o Coordinate with customer service to ensure seamless post-sales support.
10. Customer Retention
o Maintain strong relationships to foster repeat business.
o Identify cross-selling opportunities to expand client relationships.
Ideal Candidate
* A driven individual with a desire for growth and progression within the company.
* 3-5 years of experience in sales, with a focus on lead generation or business development.
* Ability to manage a large customer pipeline across various stages.
* Keen interest in the Construction/Engineering sector.
* Target-oriented and hardworking, with a proven sales track record.
* Experience with CRM systems (Vincere experience preferred).
