A welcoming mainstream primary school in Wimborne is seeking a caring, enthusiastic, and reliable Pupil’s Assistant to provide high-quality support to students across various year groups. This is a fantastic opportunity for university students, recent graduates, or anyone passionate about building a career in education!
Responsibilities:
* Provide tailored support to pupils within the classroom setting.
* Work closely with teaching staff to assist in lesson delivery and classroom management.
* Offer 1:1 or small group support, helping pupils to access the curriculum effectively.
* Foster a positive, inclusive and nurturing learning environment.
* Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to teachers.
Job Requirements:
* A genuine interest in working with children and supporting their educational journey.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Patience, empathy, and a positive approach to learning support.
* Flexibility and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
* SEN experience is a bonus.
* Uni students who want a career in education are encouraged to apply.
* Have an updated CV (covering the last ten years, barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one).
