WHAT YOULL DO Providing clinical leadership to the Gender Service, with shared accountability for all aspects of service performance, including the delivery of operational KPIs (Key Performance Indicator) and financial management Working closely with the Programme Manager and Divisional Management team in ensuring that a safe and effective service to children and young people is always delivered, in line with national and locally agreed standards ensuring effective and efficient use of resources Actively participating in national developments relating to gender development, learning from others as well as influencing based on the experience of leading a Gender Service for children and young people Working collaboratively with external agencies including all NHS provider organisations working in the Northern and Southern Hub services, other service providers, NHS England, and adult gender services Supporting the development of the medical workforce including the job planning and appraisal process Leading medical education activities within the service and where appropriate to the wider Trust and other agencies Contributing to clinical networks both internal and external to the organisation WHAT WERE LOOKING FOR We are looking for a versatile and enthusiastic individual who thrives in a diverse and busy department.
