7.5 Tonne Driver
Here at HireGiant, we are looking for an experienced 7.5 Tonne Driver to join our well-established client based in Spondon, Derby.
This thriving company focuses on deliveries of their products and some 3PL deliveries to clients across the UK. There is a possible opportunity for the 7.5 Tonne Driver to be placed on long-term hire should they complete their work without infringements and accidents.
The Role:
The 7.5 Tonne Driver will be required to deliver palletised goods using a pump truck. There may be occasions where companies will unload you with a forklift. Additionally, you may also have some small boxes to deliver by hand. The work starts immediately and involves making up to 10-15 local deliveries/collections of goods on either a curtain side truck or box trailer wagon. 7.5 Tonne experience is needed due to the nature of the work. You must also be competent with strapping a load securely to follow HSE and driver regulations.
Requirements for this role:
1. Cat C1 entitlement on your licence
2. Valid Digital tacho & CPC Card
3. Safety Boots & Hi Viz Vest
The hourly rate for this 7.5 Tonne Driver role is:
£13.65 - £14.45 per hour Monday to Friday PAYE to start.
