What the role will involve The responsibilities of your role will include the following:
* To ensure compliance to specified quality requirements and assist in reducing cost. Actively identifying corrective actions, providing support with continual improvements
* Carry out process and product-based quality audits and verifying any corrective actions that need to be taken.
* Demonstrate a thorough knowledge and understanding of Continual Improvement, internal and external audit procedures, and be able to produce report data for management system review
* Investigation around customer returns and defect investigations
* Generating monthly quality reports
* Support all Program Teams meetings by representing the L3Harris QA Team to ensure product development programmes plan for right first time working by using prevention tools
What you'll bring The role of Quality Engineer requires the following experience and skills:
* To be fully conversant with the current revision of ISO9001 and AS9100.
* Previous Quality Assurance experience, ideally including aerospace experience and ideally educated to degree level or equivalent in an Engineering or Science related subject
* Experience with APQP, PPAP, PFMEA and Control Plans
* A robust temperament, able to liaise at all levels, be a role model and promote right first time behaviours
