NOV is looking for a Workshop Team Leader based in Plymouth.
Responsible and accountable for delivering quality product on time within timescales stipulated in the production schedule.
Ensure FGS Plymouth BMS controls are adhered to throughout the factories, achieving and exceeding quality, environmental, health and safety requirements.
Records and reports on any misdemeanours and non-conformities.
MAIN DUTIES
* Promote a safe working environment
* BMS Compliance (Policies, Procedures, SOI’s RAMS and COSHH etc).
* Safety Culture and Safe Systems of Work
* Factory Environment - Housekeeping Levels
* Risk Identification and STOP WORK (5x5)
* Lead allocated teams in the delivery of works.
* Drive works through the factory.
* Maintain the standards of workmanship (quality).
* Responsible for maintaining traceability for all materials and associated paperwork (WIP and Quality Records).
* Daily report on progress of works complete.
* Ensure fully utilised and productive staff at all times.
* Ensure that all Environmental and waste management controls are followed by your team.
* Identify and report to Area Manager / Operations Admin Team on any SHE incidents or issues causing non-value added effort from the team.
* Ensure customer requirements (stated on WO) are met or exceeded on all works.
* Be accountable for all designated teams.
* Meet customer due dates through drive.
* Maintain a clean and presentable working area.
* Identify and report on performance issues within the team (Digital Diary).
