LCV Technician wanted for a full-time, permanent role in Oxford- Rotating early and late shifts
Areas of responsibility:
* Carry out routine maintenance and repairs on all makes of LCV’s to VOSA standard
* Diagnose and rectify all types of faults
* Ensure all vehicles worked upon are handled carefully and that all precautions are taken whilst on the premises
* Liaise with the parts department to attain correct parts
* Ensure health & safety regulations and safe working practices are adhered to
* Ensure appropriate clockings are made, all job cards and service sheets are completed in a timely manner
* Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and tidiness
* Maintain a thorough and current product knowledge and attend training courses
Candidates should be able to demonstrate:

* Excellent customer care skills
* Flexibility to undertake a wide range of tasks
* High level of technical knowledge and ability in mechanical repair
* Awareness and understanding of health and safety requirements
Experience / skills:
* Technical qualification (City and Guilds or NVQ Qualified Technician) or proven experience repairing and maintaining vehicles
* Current driving license
Early Shift – 07.30 to 16.00 Monday to Thursday and 15.00 on Friday.
Late Shift – 13.30 to 22.00 Monday to Thursday and 21.00 on Friday.
